Marketing // Creative // Graphic Design
Myk Crawford
I’m a hands-on creative professional. That means I can lead the strategy, shoot the photos, design the assets, cut the video, and get it out the door. Whatever the project calls for.
My background spans graphic design, marketing strategy, photography, videography, web, print, social, and email. I’ve worked with nonprofits, law firms, retailers, small businesses, and event producers. The clients change but the job is usually the same — take what an organization is trying to say and make it look and feel like they mean it.
I think about creative and marketing together, not separately. Design that doesn’t serve a goal is just decoration, and strategy without strong creative rarely lands. I’ve spent my career sitting at that intersection, and it’s where I do my best work.
EXPERIENCE
PRES
Freelance Creative & Marketing Consultant
Spokane, WA
Freelance work with small businesses, nonprofits, event producers, and business associations. The clients who need a lot done and don’t always have a big team to do it.
Photography, video, graphic design, web design, print, social media, marketing strategy — whatever the project calls for. Some clients need one thing. Most needed several. I am comfortable moving between all of it. Not as a dabbler, but as someone who’s put in real hours in each discipline on real client work, under real deadlines.
Some of the brands I’ve worked with include: Avista, Washington Trust Bank, 509 Classic, Sunshine Club, 312 Group, GoWest Credit Union Association, Idaho Central Credit Union, Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino, SMAX Entertainment, Elite Events of Music City, Gonzaga on SI, Porter Consulting, KXLY Radio Group, Ellis Media, Spokane Public Facilities District (SPFD) and many more.

Member Story Studio, LLC - Spokane, WA
Most credit unions believe in their mission. They just don’t always have the team to tell that story the way it deserves to be told.
MemberStory Studio exists to fix that. I built it specifically for credit unions that need professional marketing, photography, video, and design but don’t have the budget or bandwidth for a full in-house creative team. Think of it as having a seasoned creative director and marketing strategist in your corner, without the overhead.
The work covers everything a credit union needs to present their brand (member-facing campaigns, brand assets, social content, photography, video production, print collateral, and marketing strategy). All of it built around the unique voice and community focus that makes credit unions different from every other financial institution out there.

Creative Marketing Director
Community Cancer Fund - Spokane, WA
I led the creative and marketing functions together (strategy, design, production, copy, photography, video). If it went out the door with the organization’s name on it, I had a hand in it.
On the brand and design side, I built and maintained the visual identity across everything (campaigns, events, donor materials, sponsorship decks, print collateral, and event signage) working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere). Photography and video were a core part of my output: I planned and directed shoots, captured events, and edited the final content for campaigns, fundraising, social, and sponsor recaps, doing the full production cycle myself.
Email marketing was another big piece. Writing, designing, and deploying campaigns that supported fundraising, events, and community engagement. On social, I owned the strategy and made the content: platform-native graphics and video cuts, and enough attention to performance data to keep refining the approach. The goal was always the same, make it look credible, make it land, and make it mean something.
2020
Director of Marketing
Quiroga Law Office - Spokane, WA
I led marketing for a growing immigration law firm, managing a remote team of 15 based in Colombia (while working through language barriers via translators) and building a workflow that kept everyone aligned and moving.
The focus was client acquisition. I drove that through social media, paid advertising, SEO, and website strategy on WordPress, managing the firm’s presence across Facebook/Instagram and making sure the ads & site were converting the traffic we brought in. I set the overall strategy, made the channel and budget calls, and kept the team focused on execution. Lead volume and client acquisition grew noticeably over time — which in a firm where every consultation has real revenue behind it, is the number that matters.
Leading a multilingual remote team across time zones pushed me to communicate clearly, delegate well, and build systems that didn’t depend on me being in the room.
2018
Marketing Manager & Sr. Graphic Designer
Huppin's / OneCall — Spokane, WA
Huppin’s and OneCall were two different businesses under one roof, a local consumer electronics retail store and a large e-commerce operation selling stereos, TVs, cameras, and custom installation services. My job was to make the marketing work for both, which meant understanding two very different audiences and two very different sales environments at the same time.
I started entry level and worked up to manage a team of four that owned the full marketing and design output (print collateral, newspaper advertising, web design, catalogs, direct-mail, events, e-commerce platforms, social media, project management, production/scheduling). Consumer electronics is a competitive, spec-driven category where price and product knowledge matter. Doing that across both a local retail floor and an online store gave me a marketing perspective that’s hard to get any other way.
